Should i paint my kitchen cabinets the same color as my trim. Instead of painting the trim the exact cream which is never always exact given how light and placement plays such a large part split the difference for a warmer white for the trim and paneling. It can be risky to mix and match whites as one can easily make another look dirty warm cool etc. If you already have something painted white in your room ie. Going with the same or similar color as the walls on the perimeter cabinets can make the kitchen look larger and the island stand out if it is contrasting.
